4 Hottest +PLUS+ Size Looks for Fall 2013

I am super excited about fall 2013 because I feel like this year
fashion has gone back to real dressing. This season we are seeing
the return of tweed, ladylike leather, embellishment and plaid!
Back in the day, there were very few plus-size brands that even produced apparel based on designer trends. Nowadays, plus-size brands and retailers are finally catching up with the times and seeing that plus-size women want the same trends we see on the runway. For fall 2013, there were so many wonderfully fun and edgy trends for plus-size women to dabble in, no matter your size. Here are four of the easiest and coolest trends in plus-size for every budget.

Leather

We saw leather make its appearance back in 2012, but this year the world has fully caught on to its chic appeal. From leather skirts and leather tops to leather dresses, this is a must buy for fall.

  • Forever 21 Plus Jeggings (Forever 21, $15)
  • Monif C. Button Front Dress (Monif C., $188)
  •

    Plaid

Yes, the schoolgirl look is back but in a much more grown-up way. Try a plaid blazer with jeans, a plaid peplum top with a pencil skirt or a full plaid skirt with a black turtleneck for a modern yet trendy look.

Recipe #17 - Apple Butter Pork Loin

    Apple Butter Pork Loin

This is the best pork recipe I've ever made. This pork is seasoned with a spiced apple butter, and roasted in apple juice. If food can be warm and cozy, this is it--a great Sunday dish!

    Ingredients

    2 (2 pound)boneless pork loin roast

    2013's Most-Wanted Makeup Colors

    POPPY RED LIPSTICK
Pair strong lips with a shimmery neutral shadow and highlighter on the cheekbones (choose pearly shadows and highlighter for fair skin and gold ones for darker complexions).

    COPPER EYE SHADOW

Put your played-out gold or silver shadow aside: Smoldering copper is sexier and more grown-up. Pair it with smudgy black liner to give definition to your eyes.

    CHARCOAL NAIL POLISH

Here's the thing about a lot of trendy nail colors: They're really fun...if you're 18. Enter charcoal. It's sophisticated, chic, and works for any age or skin tone

    SHEER PLUM BLUSH
Sheer plum blush gives cheeks a flushed, fresh, athletic look.

SKY BLUE EYE SHADOW AND LINER
Yes, you read that correctly: Sky blue shadow is back. Keep the shade from looking too retro or costumey by wearing it as an eyeliner. Or pair sky blue shadow with black liquid liner

    OPAQUE WHITE NAIL POLISH

Remember when you would use Wite-Out as a makeshift nail polish when you were bored in fourth-grade homeroom? (No? That was just me?) Take that idea, dial up the sophistication factor about 100 percent, and you'll end up with one of the hottest nail shades for 2013. But you don't want to look like you're actually wearing the correction fluid, so choose a nonstreaky nail polish formula with a shiny finish.

    HOT PINK LIPSTICK

There's this grunge haute couture thing going on for a Courtney Love-inspired lip. (Yup, that's really back.) Fuchsia is striking on dark complexions.

    Eye Makeup Tutorial {Step by Step}

I love color on the eyes but it can be a little tricky knowing how much is too much. this simple eye makeup tutorial shows you how to easily wear color.

    1. color entire eyelid with a nude shimmer shadow (for those of you who are a bit older, stick with matte shadow)
    2. apply crease color with pencil brush for precise placement and maximum color payoff. pull color to outer corner of lid and connect with lower eyelid. [optional: line lower eyelid with same color]
    3. use a soft brown to help diffuse crease color making the contrast not so stark.
